- Pipfruit – begin pruning once leaves have fallen
- Prepare ground for garlic.
- Plant garlic and continue planting strawberries.
- Finish cleaning out garden beds and composting.
- Dig over fallow areas of your beds and sow green crop
- Cover compost with black plastic or carpet to keep warm and dry over winter.
- Clean and care for tools. Rub tool blades with steel wool to get rid of rust, wipe with oily rag and put blades into bucket of sand for winter. Same with spades and forks etc.
